Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Haggai Home LLC ("Haggai Home," "we," "us") is a New Jersey development and construction management company. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect information through www.haggaihome.com, the Haggai Home platform, and the Haggai Home app for iPhone and iPad (together, the "Services").

The Services are provided to organizations that hold an account with us (each, a "Client") and to the people those Clients invite, such as staff, contractors, design professionals, funders, lenders, and board members. Where we process information on a Client's behalf, we do so under our agreement with that Client.

2. Information we collect

Information you or your organization provide:

• Account details: name, email address, telephone number, title, organization, and the role your organization assigns you.
• Project records: properties, budgets, contracts, pay applications, draws, schedules, field records, documents, approvals, and comments entered by you or your team.
• Photos you take or upload, such as punch list, move-in, and condition photos, with the date and time taken and, when you allow it, the location.
• LiDAR scans captured in the app: room dimensions, wall, door, and window positions, a three-dimensional model of the space, condition notes, and, when you allow it, the location where the scan was taken.
• Messages you send us, including requests for support or account deletion.

Information collected automatically:

• Sign-in and session information needed to keep you signed in securely.
• If you allow notifications, a push token that lets us send alerts to your device, and the app version.
• Standard server logs, such as IP address, browser or device type, and the pages or functions requested, used for security and to keep the Services running.

We do not collect information for advertising, we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not use advertising identifiers. Face ID is handled entirely by your device; we never receive biometric data.

3. How we use information

• To provide the Services: to sign you in, show you the projects your role allows, record approvals, and file photos and scans with the correct project and property.
• To use location only to place a photo or scan on the correct property. We do not track your location in the background.
• To send notices you need, such as invitations, approval requests, and updates, by email or push notification according to your settings.
• To secure the Services, prevent misuse, and keep records required by law or by contracts and funding programs.
• To support you and respond to your requests.

4. How information is shared

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for targeted advertising.

• Within your organization's account, information is visible to other members according to the roles and project access your organization sets.
• With the service providers that host and operate the Services on our behalf under confidentiality obligations, including Supabase (database and file storage), Vercel (website hosting), Resend (email delivery), and Apple (push notifications).
• When required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Haggai Home, our Clients, or others.
• In connection with a merger, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to this Privacy Policy.

5. Retention

We keep account and project information for as long as the Client's account is active and afterward for as long as needed to meet legal, contractual, audit, and funding program record-keeping requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it no longer identifiable.

6. Your choices and rights

• You can update your name and contact details from your account, and turn notifications and location access on or off in your device settings.
• You can request deletion of your account from the More tab in the app or by emailing admin@haggaihome.com. Records your organization must keep, such as signed contracts and payment records, may be retained as described in Section 5.
• Depending on where you live, including under the New Jersey Data Privacy Act, you may have the right to confirm whether we process your personal data and to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of it. To make a request, email admin@haggaihome.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time the law allows. If we decline, you may appeal by replying to our decision.
• If your organization holds the account, we may refer your request to your organization and act on its instructions.

7. Security

We protect information with access controls that limit each person to the records their role allows, encryption in transit, private file storage with short-lived links, and restricted administrative access. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The Services are intended for business use and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the updated version here with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify account holders by email or in the Services.
